While people reusing passwords isn't ideal, and those with advanced permissions shouldn't be, the reality is with so many different accounts (federated logins are reduced that but many still don't support that), and not everyone wanting or knowing how to use unique password management apps like KeePass, many are going to share their passwords for less important sites. (Sadly many also share them for important passwords like their main email or financial sites.) This can spell problems when a website you use is compromised but it isn't guaranteed. It depends on how stupid the website was, but also in some cases your password length. If the website was very stupid and didn't use a hash or used a hash which is instantly reversable no matter the length, then your SOL and some websites in breaches did do that. However if the website is a bit smarter and used a hash, and the hash is slightly slow to generate this is actually when bruteforcing and password length or actually complexity comes in to play. If you have a 6 character password and the hash is MD5, it's basically guaranteed your password will become known if someone cares enough. Often people just do the whole database up to a certain length and even 8 characters tends to come out at least for alphanumeric. If you have a 16 character random password, with a remotely decent hash there is basically zero chance anyone is going to find out your password from the hash anytime in the near future (unless someone discovered a major flaw in MD5 or perhaps if there is a major breakthrough in quatum computers). Even if your password is 16 characters made up of English words (unknown how many words), I think it'll still take way too long to bruteforce (although I can't be bothered working out the figures). If you narrow it down to e.g. 2 words, it may start to become possible again but it's complicated (presuming you aren't being targeted, the person has to decide what to test the database against, e.g. 2 words in a 100000 word dictionary lower case, it'll generally help if you e.g. use a mix of upper and lower case this doesn't have to be really complex e.g. the the 3rd letter is uppercase, etc). To ensure that the strength of the password is sufficent to resist a persistent brute force attack, those users who are subject to heightened password scrutiny will be required to devise a password of sufficent strength to resist attack for no less than 7 days. Would have to import each of my dozens of folders individually. And, I'm still not even sure that would work after importing all those folders manually. What you can do is the following, go into preferences via Edit -> Preferences -> Local Storage. From there you can select to store the originals or smart previews somewhere other than drive C. The database, and the cache all remain on drive C. So for my roughly 800gb library, it uses about 25gb in the cache on drive C; with all originals stored on a second drive. It seems my only option is to either delete something from my C: drive or buy a new SSD. And if I clear off the required amount of space will I be able to then reclaim that space after importing my photos? Or, will Lightroom continue to need that space (and more?) as I work with my newly imported photos? I agree that Adobe messed up on this one. But it is a much more common issue than you would believe with plenty of software packages. I ran into the same problem with another software package recently, which is also rather annoying. I think Adobe and many other developers are lazy and do not account for people upgrading computers and adding storage. They count on the "average" user just buying a prebuilt machine with a single drive. The only way to specify where your images are stored is by using Lightroom Classic. Lightroom Cloudy cannot do this. When you import, it puts the images in a temporary location on your startup disk and then starts uploading the images to their permanent location in the cloud. After that it will usually delete the original imported files if the disk space is needed and dynamically download raw files from the cloud if you need them again at some point. This is how Lightroom Cloud is designed. It relies on your originals being in the cloud. Lightroom Classic is designed with the idea that your originals are local and they can be on any disk attached to your system. I used Windows Powershell and created a symlink to my D: drive it worked. Created link in C:\users\{username}\appdata\local\adobe\Lightroom CC to D:\Lightroom CC. First copy lightroom CC from C: to D: then make the link. I am using Adobe Lightroom Classic and I only want to delete the content that is in the cloud consuming space that counts towards my storage limit. I found the following instructions on the Adobe support site. "You delete all your photos in the cloud on LrWeb. You can log into lightroom.adobe.com, press your avatar on the top right corner and click on Account Info. There, under actions click on Delete Lightroom Library." Will this delete anything on my computer harddrive or will it only delete content that has been uploaded to the cloud? Also, when I sync an album from Lightroom Classic on my computer to the cloud, it only uploads smart previews that don't count against my storage limit (which is not what I want to remove). Is this going to delete all of that content too? If so, will I have any issues re-syncing those images again from Lightroom Classic? Yes, deleting the cloud library via LrWeb will clear the entire image library from the cloud. To delete only the originals which are taking up cloud storage space, you can use the filter in the Lightroom desktop app. First click on the All Photos item in the left-hand panel, then click on the filter icon (right-hand side of the Search Bar) and select "Sync Status".....the resulting display will list a few categories, but the one you are interested in is "Synced and Backed Up". Clicking on that will populate the grid with all the photos which exist in the cloud in full original form, i.e. not smart previews. Selecting all those and deleting them will clear your cloud storage.....just make sure they have been safely downloaded and stored in Classic on your local hard drives before doing the delete. Note that once deleted from the cloud they will also be "unsynced" in LrClassic, and would be removed from any synced collection that they may be in. But the images themselves would not be removed from LrClassic. I'm using a Mac computer at work that is running macOS Ventura version 13.3. I think I assumed that the C drive was large and the D drive smaller. In fact my Dell has the same configuration as yours - C drive is only 223GB and the D Drive is 1 TB. I went through the same juggling act you're going through a couple years ago, moving as much as possible off of the C drive and making sure that it doesn't get overwhelmed. In order to verify that the phone is in a locked or untrusted state, check the phone status messages from the phone itself or the phone web page in order to see if a Trust List Update Failed message displays. The ITL Update Failed message is an indicator that the phone is in a locked or untrusted state beacuse it has failed to authenticate the trust list with its current ITL and failed to authenticate it with TVS. CUCM Version 10.0(1) uses an additional key that can be used in order to reestablish trust between phones and the CUCM servers. This new key is the ITL Recovery key. The ITL Recovery key is created during the install or upgrade. This recovery key does not change when hostname changes, DNS changes, or other changes are performed that might lead to problems where the phones get into a state where they no longer trust the signer of their configuration files. The new utils itl reset CLI command can be used in order to reestablish trust between a phone or phones and the TFTP service on CUCM when phones are in a state where the Trust List Update Failed message is seen. The utils itl reset command: The administrator must then reset all of the phones. The reset causes the phones to request the ITL file upon boot up from the TFTP server and the ITL file the phone receives is signed by the ITLRecovery key instead of the callmanager.pem private key. There are two options to run an ITL reset: utils itl reset localkey and utils itl reset remotekey. The ITL reset command can only be run from the publisher. If you issue an ITL reset from a subscriber, it results in the This is not a Publisher Node message. Examples of each command are detailed in the next sections. This process causes the phones to be reset upon regenerating the first certificate, and they should be back up and registered before the next certificate is regenerated. The publisher ITL recovery key is the only one in use by the entire cluster, even though each node has its own ITLRecovery certificate issued to the Common Name (CN) of ITLRecovery_. This is why the only ITLRecovery_ entry seen in an ITL file contains the hostname of the publisher. If the hostname of the publisher is changed, the ITLRecovery entry in the ITL continues to show the old hostname of the publisher. This is done intentionally because the ITLRecovery file should never change to ensure the phones always trust the ITL recovery. This applies for when domain names are changed too; the original domain name is seen in the ITLRecovery entry in order to ensure that the recovery key does not change. The only time the ITLRecovery certificate should change is when it expires due to the five-year validity and must be regenerated. The ITL recovery keypairs can be regenerated with either the CLI or the OS Administration page. IP phones are not reset when the ITLRecovery certificate is regenerated on the publisher or any of the subscribers. After ITLRecovery certificate regeneration on the publisher, restart the TFTP service on every node that runs the TFTP service in the cluster in order to update the ITLRecovery entry in the ITL file with the new certificate. The final step is to reset all devices from System > Enterprise Parameters and to use the reset button in order to make all devices download the new ITL file that contains the new ITLRecovery certificate. Landfill mining is the process of excavating material from these sites to process it for reuse. Construction landfills are relatively simple to mine, as they hold a limited number of materials such as wood, scrap metal, gypsum, bricks tiles and concrete. Industrial landfills are high-value, often containing residue from the production of valuable minerals like copper, zinc and steel. Ferrous metals from these excavations can be extracted using a magnet and taken to a ferrous metal recycling facility to be turned into new metal. Mining municipal landfills offer more complications, as they contain a much more varied selection of solid wastes, some of which may be toxic. It is possible to successfully mine both old landfills that have previously been capped to entomb the waste and modern bioreactor landfills. Ferrous metals can be extracted using an electromagnet from this remaining material, and non-ferrous materials will be taken away for further sorting. My colleague, David Mills, and I had, on occasion, discussed the possibility of detecting and imaging the silver content of black and white films, but it was not until TV archiving expert Charles Norton came to us with another of those bizarre requests that we actually put this to the test. Charles then told me how a 16mm film copy of the second episode of the Morecambe and Wise show had turned up in an archive in Nigeria. In hot, humid conditions it was suffering from advanced vinegar syndrome and fit only for the skip. But this was the only remaining copy since the episodes were originally stored on video tape, long since erased, and such film copies were only made for overseas use. Charles had heard of our work with scrolls and asked if anything could be done. Not wishing to turn down a challenge, we set to work. Early experiments with very short rolls of film (only a few centimetres in diameter) yielded surprising and spectacular results. I think these are generally all pretty solid, even the ones that aren't at all relevant to the overarching story (like Episode 8, "The Murder of the Art Museum Owner") and the literal anime-only filler that is Episode 6, "The Valentine Murder Case." In many ways, Detective Conan isn't my type of show in the slightest, but every one of these stories exemplifies why I like it so much anyway. The interactions between characters are fun, the scenarios can get so ridiculous that they make me laugh, but I also genuinely feel an emotional connection to the events that are occurring, too. I don't know if I'd single out any one of these episodes as an absolute fave per se, but they are all classics that I like to revisit. ? Episode 36, "The Monday, 7:30 P.M. Murder Case." I feel obligated to list this one because, well, I wrote a 4,000-word essay about it. Yes, my longest essay for this show is really about an anime-only filler. But I like the central conflict here and the questions it raises. It's an episode I've clearly thought about a lot. ? Episode 54, "The Game Company Murder Case." Just a solid story dealing with the main plot. I've seen lots of comments elsewhere that reccomend importing an XML file. What I did, because I didn't want to download any other application, was I put a bunch of short black dividers (Titles with just a ".") in iMovie, and then I just looked for those on Premiere. But I had to split all the clips again. I'll never start another project on iMovie again. As far as keeping all of the editing intact goes, it really depends on the complexity of the edit. The video clips used along with order in which they were assembled should come across okay. Everything else (Transitions, Effects, Graphics, Color Correction) probably will not. The imovie object displays a video within a single UI object in a Max patch. To detect when the movie has ended, use the getduration message to determine the movie's duration, then use the gettime message to monitor the current time of the video as it plays. In this example, we use the grab object to get the duration once and store it in other objects (select and >=). I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. Someone recently mentioned to me that it is unusual these days for someone to spend their working life in the same job. While making pots has always been at the core of my life, ceramics has given me many opportunities beyond the studio. To learn new things, to travel and teach, and to be involved in projects that have created new opportunities for makers to promote and sell their work. I was Chair of the Craft Potters Association (CPA) for a total of 12 years and was involved with the first CPA fair in Cheltenham and one of the small team who helped establish Earth and Fire at Rufford. I was a founder member and Chair of the Ceramic Art London organising committee. At that time, I felt very conscious of the need for a fresh platform to celebrate the expanding range of contemporary ceramics. A highlight of that period was my year as guest editor of Ceramic Review. In November 2019, I will be leading the first International Soda-firing Ceramics Festival at Fuping in Shaanxi, China. My work life (I refuse to call it a career) has for years been on a geographical downward direction. It started at the top of the map of the British Isles, I was born on the north coast of Northern Ireland, but have gradually slipped south via Kilkenny, Armagh and Herefordshire to Cornwall. I went to St Ives as the first lead potter and creative director at the refurbished Leach Pottery. I now live and work in Mousehole, Cornwall. Over time, my making process has become simpler. Porcelain clay, copper and a single firing with sodium bicarbonate are self-imposed limitations that have in many ways provided a wealth of colour and surface quality. I have found working with fewer ingredients is not restricting but means I have to use them more thoughtfully, finding new colours with layers of the same slip. Learning about the changes to the surface and colour that varying the kiln atmosphere or firing the kiln half a cone higher or lower will make. Everything I make has a domestic context in one way or another. The pots I admire the most are pieces that have often been made for a specific and sometimes mundane purpose. However, through their connection with people and being made using a magical combination of materials, extraordinary skill and chance, they have become objects with emotional and spiritual value. For me, the truest form of ceramic art. For as long as I can remember loving ceramics I can remember Ceramic Review. Exploring the valley, I discovered a stream with exposed banks of clay. I could collect it, pull out any stones, throw with it on the wheel and fire it successfully. Alongside my electric kiln, I f ire with gas and wood at nearby Kigbeare Studios, where I have become part of a local pottery community.
